God the Father - We believe in one holy and eternal God, Creator of all things, and consisting of three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ - We believe Jesus, being fully God, became fully man, one Person in two natures. Jesus, Israel’s promised Messiah was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. As our representative and substitute, He shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate. His victorious resurrection, after His atoning death, constitutes the only grounds for salvation.
The Holy Spirit - We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs into the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips and empowers believers in God’s saving and sanctifying work through Jesus Christ for Christ-like living and service.
The Bible - We believe God has revealed Himself in the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, through the inspiration of human authors. As the verbally inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, and is a complete revelation. God’s word is the ultimate authority of the church and is to be believed in all it teaches, obeyed in all it requires, and trusted in all it promises.
Humanity - We believe God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned when tempted by Satan, our spiritual enemy. In union with Adam, all human beings are sinners by nature, alienated from and guilty before God. Only through God’s saving work in Jesus Christ can we be rescued and reconciled with God.
The Church - We believe the true church is comprised of all who have been justified by God’s grace. We are united by the Holy Spirit in the body of Christ, of which Christ is the Head, and His Word is the final authority. The true church is manifest in local churches, whose membership should be composed of believers. The Lord Jesus mandated two ordinances for His Church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which visibly and tangibly express the gospel. They are not the means of salvation, but confirm and nourish the believer as they participate in them.
Christian Living - We believe God’s grace is demonstrated in lives which are transformed into the image of Christ through discipleship. We are to love God and others as a demonstration of our faith and an act of worship.
Eternity - We believe in the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus, the resurrection of the dead and judgment of all. The believer will live in eternal union with God in heaven. The unbeliever, along with Satan and the fallen angels will endure eternal conscious punishment in hell.
PLAN A VISIT
What to Expect
At Grace Bible, our service lasts just over an hour. After a few announcements, we open with prayer and then we sing together. The words are projected on a screen at the front, and we sing a mix of old and new songs, usually two or three. We have a wonderful group of musicians with guitar, piano, drums, and occasionally other instruments.
We continue with prayer, acknowledging our sinfulness and laying before God our needs and thanking God for forgiveness and also for meeting the needs of our congregation and God’s people. Then our pastor shares with us his sermon. Usually, our pastor is faithfully working his way through a book of the Bible, preaching a series of sermons applying each passage to our lives today. After the sermon, there is one last song and the service is ended.
After the service, there is a time of fellowship followed by Sunday education for all ages.
CREEDS & CONFESSIONS
The most important document for Christians is the Word of God, given to God’s people in the writings of the Old and New Testament. Here, the God of all creation is revealed and in His kindness, He makes known His plan for the salvation of His creation through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Throughout church history, there have been many challenges to the authority and clarity of God’s word. The response to those challenges have been recorded in the form of Creeds, Confessions, and Catechisms. To learn more regarding the challenges and responses to issues about God’s word, we invite you to search and find the following writings which provide clarity in understanding the scriptures.

Christians and those who are learning about Jesus Christ often have questions. If there are questions, please send us your question via email. You can do that by going to the ABOUT tab, then scrolling down and filling out the email form. We will answer your question in a timely manner.
Let this word from the book of John be an encouragement.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (Jn 1:1).
